Five of the newspapers he redesigned (Puls Biznesu in Poland, Aripaev in Estonia, De Morgen in Belgium, two times Het Parool in The Netherlands) were named ‘World’s Best Designed Newspaper’ by the Society for News Design in the biggest and the most prestigeous international competition.
Jacek also used to specialize in cover design, whe he as active Art Director in publications. Three of his covers from Puls Biznesu were being named ‘Cover of the year’ for three years in a raw! He was one of the first making poste-style front pages in newspapers.
Four times the newspapers he recently redesigned were recognized as European Newspaper of the Year – an annual award for best designed publication. European Newspaper Award is the biggest design competition in Europe, with hundreds of titles submitting their work.
Dozens other publications redesigns (from Singapore, South Africa, Bulgaria, Austria, Lithuania, Russia) were awarded in international competitions. Awards for pages, infographics, sections, covers, overall redesign, to name the most common.
